A boy was nearly run over by an attraction at a popular theme park after jumping into the restricted area.
When visiting a theme park – be it Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, any other Disney park in the world, Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags, Busch Gardens or SeaWorld – the most important day is for each guest to be safe.
However, a recent terrifying moment almost turned into a tragedy for a young guest visiting Gulliver’s World, a popular theme park in Warrington, England.
A young child chose to climb over a fence in a restricted area of the theme park. Viewer Andy Moore shared read more about the incident with Manchester Evening News:
“I was queuing with my young child and we were taking pictures of every ride we were on, when this child climbed over the fence and ran towards the ride. He spent a while playing on the cannons while the pirate ship was in full swing.
After moments of screaming, an adult jumped the fence and grabbed the child.
“The child’s parent was nowhere to be found at first. Then the staff member saw what everyone was screaming and stopped the ride,” Moore said. didn’t seem to realize the danger involved. A member of the public on the other side jumped over the fence to grab the child. I couldn’t as I didn’t want to leave my young child alone.

As you can see in the photo, the young boy jumped over the fence to play with the cannons on the other side. The theme park attendants were apparently unaware he was there and he uncomfortably approaches the attraction.
This isn’t the first incident to happen at a theme park recently, with many guests even sharing that they are “deterred” from riding horses.
