• Second year of Aquinas College Matthew Brine (Cadillac HS) took 61st place in 29:46 at the Knight-Raider Invitational on Saturday.

• First year student at Cornerstone University Logan churchill (Pine River HS) was 37th in 28:03 at the Ray Bullock Invitational in Upland, Indiana on Friday.

• Freshman at Eastern Michigan University Chloie Musta (Cadillac HS) took 154th place in 24h26 at the Florida State Open Friday in Tallahassee, Fla.

• Second year of Ferris State University Brandon wirth (Reed City HS) took 78th place in 27:02 at the Spartan Invitational in East Lansing on Friday.

• Second year at Grand Valley State University Klaudia O’Malley (McBain HS) took 11th place in the Spartan Invitational in 22:18 while his junior teammate Analynne Klotz (Cadillac HS) took 48th place in 28:21.

First-year student Maggie O’Malley (McBain HS) finished 91st in 24:20 competing as a solo athlete.

• First year student at Lake Superior State University Gwen phillips (Cadillac HS) took 206th place in 29:51 at the Spartan Invitational.

• First year student at Spring Arbor University Shelby cade (Buckley HS) took 55th place in 8:50 at the Ray Bullock Invitational on Friday.

• Albion Junior College Phillip Jones-Price (Reed City HS) carried the ball 17 times for 112 yards in the Britons 24-14 win over Hanover on Saturday.

Albion (3-0 overall) hosts Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday.

• Alma Junior College Trever Salani (Manton HS) had two punters for 85 yards in the Scots’ 51-2 win over Anderson College on Saturday.

• Colgate University junior defensive back Jackson Prize (Reed City HS) recorded three tackles in the Red Raiders’ 27-7 loss to William & Mary on Saturday.

Colgate (0-3 overall) hosts Lehigh on Saturday.

• Second year lineman at Grand Valley State University Jake kochanny (Cadillac HS) started at left guard in the Lakers’ 45-24 win over Wisconsin-LaCrosse on Saturday. The Lakers totaled 534 yards of attack.

• defensive back from Collège Olivet Elie lewis (Pine River HS) recorded two tackles in the Comets’ 59-7 win over Manchester on Saturday. Senior Andrew Sikkema (McBain HS) started off center and helped produce 248 yards of total attacking.

Olivet (2-0 overall) is at Millsaps on Saturday.

• Second year of Baker University Grant Pogue (McBain NMC) took 14th place with a total of 216 over three days at the Carmichael Cup Sept. 13-14 in Salina, Kansas.

• First year student at Cornerstone University Emma Whitley (Pine River HS) recorded an ace and a blow in the Golden Eagles’ 3-0 win over Aquinas on Wednesday.

She also had an ace and a draw in a 3-0 win over Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.

• University of East Stroudsburg senior Ali Pinson (Cadillac HS) recorded 10 assists, 36 assists, an ace, two blocks and 16 digs in the Warriors’ 3-1 loss to Holy Family on Saturday.

She also had nine assists, 39 assists, two aces, three blocks and 18 digs in a 3-2 loss to Molloy later in the day.

• Freshman at New Haven University Macy Brown (Cadillac HS) recorded 33 kills, three assists, four aces, three blocks and 48 digs in four games at the Roberts Wesleyan College tournament.
