Parents, teachers, coaches and teammates joined athletic director John Hoye in honoring Minarovic.

“Grace is not only an excellent student and athlete, but a top person who is an asset to any team she is on,” Hoye said. “His mark on our softball program will last a long time.”

“It’s amazing how our softball program has grown. When Grace joined our program in seventh grade, I knew she was something special because of her work ethic – she was always in the gym, always on the court and in the cages honing her skills. said Nicole Hedden, head coach of the school’s softball program. “We’re just here to guide and mentor and I’m proud to be part of his journey.”

Minarovic is a Cooper pioneer, which means she has been part of the Cooper community since kindergarten.
