FSU secures commitment from 2023 Mississippi athlete Quindarrius Jones

Florida State Seminoles football has added a new name to its 2023 recruiting class.

Quindarrius Jones, a 6-foot-2, 187-pound athlete from Meridian, Mississippi, put on an impressive performance last week at Florida State’s elite camp.

Jones held several positions during her career at Meridian High School, earning Second-team All-Area defensive honors while taking reps at defensive back and linebacker in addition to racking up multiple touchdown seasons in each of his three years at school.

Jones doesn’t report any offers from other universities and isn’t currently ranked as a prospect – although that in no way reflects his talent. From a first look at his film, he seems like a talented catcher, playing physically and with a penchant for kicking the ball high. He seems to be a little more raw defensively, but still exhibits good hip and ball skills in the film he has.

Jones, along with JUCO lineman Jaden Jones who also signed up today, joins a recruiting class of 2023 that currently ranks No. 26 in the nation.
