Hartlepool, 15-year-old motorcycle driver slams metal fence


POLICE appealed after a motorcycle collided with a metal fence.

Officers are calling for witnesses and CCTV / dash camera footage after a white and blue 125cc pit bike collided with a metal fence.

The collision occurred on Monday, June 21 between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Rift House Recreation Ground in Hartlepool.

The 15-year-old driver of the motorbike sustained serious injuries to his face and head and was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

The motorcycle was recovered by the police.

Officers are calling anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dash cam that can assist the investigation to contact PC Dixon of the Cleveland and Durham Specialized Operations Unit, to non-urgent number 101, citing incident number 103066.
