The sports graduation rate is the highest on record; 27% more than the general population

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Athletics tied its highest graduation rate on record, according to the latest NCAA data.
NCAA data takes into account the sports department graduation rate for a six-year cohort. The latest report is for freshmen entering in the 2014-15 year, and Morehead State tied the 2007-08 cohort with a 70% success rate among student-athletes graduating.
“These latest numbers are a statement of our core values ââfor Morehead State Athletics that the student-athlete is at the heart of every decision we make.” said the sports director Dr Jaime Gordon. âOur top priority is to ensure that all of our students receive a first-class education leading to their graduation.
